Yes, you have probably noticed it, but it will only last for your first couple of posts or logins.
We are doing the best we can to avoid the spam-bots that aggravate almost every forum, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

The "type-the-letters-code" (surely there's a more formal name for this!) is getting routine on many sites now, so no problem.  And well worth the extra couple of seconds if it discourages spam!
