Over the years I've tried a few photo hosts.  Also put up several albums on my own web site.  I'm also a member on istockphoto.  But am now giving Zenfolio a trial run.  Pluses for them (my silly view) are that they offer true "pro" accounts (you make $$ off the prints, not just the host) and their search tool is not hopelessly s_t_u_p_i_d (which is a problem with most of the freebie hosts).  I'm not completely sold on them yet, but so far, so good.

Zenfolio is not a freebie, it's Basic account is $25 a year.  You are limited to 1Gb file space, but individual file sizes are not limited.  File types are the common still image ones, no video supported.  No RAW either, the closest you can get to that is a TIFF.

correction:  I found out the max file size is 12Mb.  More detail here -

I have now uploaded a panorama to Zenfolio.  The good news is that it took it, in spite of the image having a width of 5158 px.  The bad news is that the normal Zen page layout will not accommodate any image size requiring scrolling.  Instead Zen auto downsizes the image to fit the browser size.  You can still see the full size image, but you have to find your way to a hidden Download menu to do that.
